Privacy Policy
Effective September 25, 2026
The short version
Poachr has no accounts and no sign-up. We do not collect your name, contacts, location history, or any advertising identifier. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with anyone.
What the app stores
- Your watches — restaurant names, dates, time windows, and party sizes you choose — are stored on your device.
- Your alerts — the openings Poachr finds for you — are also stored on your device.
What leaves your device
- Restaurant searches. When you type a restaurant name, the text is sent to Poachr's backend, which forwards it to Google Places to find matches. Search text is used only to answer that search and is not stored or linked to you. Google's handling of the query is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
- Watch details. A watch's venue, dates, time window, and party size may be sent to Poachr's monitoring service so it can check table availability for you. Because Poachr has no accounts, these details are not linked to any identity.
What we never do
- No advertising, no ad trackers, no analytics profiles.
- No sale or rental of your data.
- No access to your contacts, photos, or precise location.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, your device delivers Poachr's alerts locally. You can turn them off at any time in your device settings.
Data removal
Because your watches and alerts live on your device, deleting the app removes them. There is no account to delete because none exists.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
