Everything about how Poachr works — and how to reach us.
How watching works
- Tap Watch a new spot and search for a restaurant — results come from Google Places.
- Pick your dates (tonight, tomorrow, this weekend, or an exact range), a time of day, and your party size.
- Poachr monitors booking feeds for you. When a matching table opens, it appears in Watching and Alerts.
- Tap Poach it! on an opening, then book the table directly with the venue.
Does Poachr book the table for me?
No. Poachr spots the opening and tells you about it — the reservation itself is always made by you, directly with the restaurant or its booking platform. Your booking is genuinely yours, and Poachr never holds tables in your name.
Why haven't I been alerted yet?
- Cancellations are unpredictable — some restaurants free up daily, others rarely.
- Widen your chances: choose a date range instead of a single day, or add a second time window with another watch.
- Keep the watch running — the longer Poachr watches, the better your odds.
Is Poachr affiliated with the restaurants?
No. Poachr is an independent alerting service and is not affiliated with the restaurants or booking platforms it monitors.
